Cultivating Peace

I offer this 2 hour course live in west Michigan by request.

In these stress filled times it is very important to be able to regulate both our personal and collective nervous systems. Join me for an informative talk and direct experience of some tools and practices that we can use to help us to maintain our steadiness and peace during times of chaos and upheaval. We will see how cultivating and strengthening our capacities to regulate and co-regulate are truly a deep service to ourselves and our communities and come away with some practical and doable practices that can be applied in everyday life

Qigong

Qigong is a body, mind, spirit practice that comes from ancient China and incorporates breath, awareness, meditation, movement and visualization. The practice supports one to experience and cultivate Qi (or Chi) which refers to life force or vital energy, information, breath or spirit. Qi is the life force that moves throughout nature and the whole universe.
Qigong serves our wellbeing in many ways:

Helps to develop awareness in body and mind
Clarifies intention and focus
Enhances integration of physical systems
Promotes active relaxation
Builds strength and flexibility
Supports freer and deeper breathing
Provides community when practiced in a group
Gives an embodied experience of a wholistic approach

You are invited to try a free class to experience what it is like.

Classes are $10 per session
