Drumming in the Dream
Drumming in the Dream is a traveling and evolving ceremony that will continue through 2026 and beyond. We have received over 80 banners thus far from all over the country. Each gathering is unique to the time and place where and when it is held and begins with a ceremony focused around a mandala and then we move into empowering our dreams with the drums and other instruments.
So far, Drumming in the Dream has been to:
This spring we plan to go west to Colorado and New Mexico and perhaps other places too. Stay tuned for more details. We still welcome banners so if you are so inspired please join in.

Drumming In the Dream
September 13-14, 2025
Drumming in the Dream was launched in Washington DC at Rock Creek Park.
Many healing ceremonies and prayers were done with a small group of us connecting with the land, the waters and our ancestors. Afterwards we set up an interactive mandala based on Joanna Macy’s Work that Reconnects, hung the banners and invited the public in. It was a deep and beautiful time.
This work came from a vision I had in a small group that gathers on a regular basis around this prayer:
Wise USA Prayer
We the people, the ancestors of our great great grandchildren
Call forth the deepest wisdom, the greatest joy and the highest compassion
From the heart and soul of America
For the benefit of the entire community of life on Earth
And the next seven generations.
May Wisdom, Joy and Compassion prevail in the United States of America
May Peace prevail on Earth.

Drumming In the Dream
November 2, 2025
We gathered in Grand Rapids, Michigan on November 2nd on The Day of the Dead / Dios de Los Muertos to do ceremony together to honor our ancestors and Drum in the Dream.
We came together in circle around our beautiful mandala. The center of the mandala held ancestors stones with ancient fossils and lights to represent that we came from the stars. Moving out from the center was the Medicine Wheel and the four sacred medicines of the Anishnaabe People who have lived on and stewarded this land today called Michigan for thousands of years. We added candles and named our family names and then moved in a ceremony of claiming and clearing our anger, fears and grief to come to the Blessing and Healing sent through our ancestral lines. We completed the ceremony ringing bells and then moved to our drums and drummed in our visions for the future generations among the beautiful banners.
Thank you to Fountain Street Church for hosting us.
