A small group of Artist, Culture Cultivators and Ceremonialists from around the country are inviting you to join in a Gathering of Interbeing to Drum in our Dreams for the US. This event will take place at Rock Creek Park, Picnic Area #7 on September 13th from 3 to 5:30 pm. People from all over have been asked to make banners that depict their most heart held visions for our collective life and they will be hung like prayer flags around the space. Local folks can place their vision on a crystal and feather to be hung with the banners that day. Participants will also be invited to create group mandalas, a visual representation of our collective consciousness in a contemplative, intentional manner. Through this process, symbolism & structure support us in expressing the ineffable aspects of our deepest longings, grounded in remembrance, beauty, and hope. Then we will drum together with the intention of activating and empowering our dreams. Bring your drums, shakers and deepest vision!
